Tammie Lynn (Marcus) Brewer

Tammie Lynn (Marcus) Brewer, 58, of Basin, Wyo., passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2025. Tammie was born September 21, 1966, in Basin, Wyo., to John and Catherine Marcus. 

Tammie married Donald Brewer in 1982, shortly after they welcomed their oldest daughter Tia, then Lacey and Nathan to follow. 

After receiving her Registered Nursing Degree in 2002 from Sheridan, Wyo., she moved to Reno, Nev., where she lived for a few years before beginning her journey around the country working as a nurse. 

Tammie was always never in one spot for too long; her passion was to travel. Going on adventures, sightseeing, sailing, exploring trails, being with good friends that she made along the way, and spending time with her grandchildren was what she loved. She traveled to many countries to take in all that it had to offer in her short life.  However, no matter how far she traveled from the Basin, she always came back and called it home.  Tammie loved blue oceans, warm sand and the smell of the salty air. 

Tammie is survived by her loving partner of 12 years, Hugh O'Neill;  children Nathan Brewer (Cassy), Lacey Foster (Cameron), and Tia Reimers (Jeramie); her mother, Catherine Marcus;  sister Tracy Skovgard (Ted), brother Chuck Marcus (Patty);  half-sister, Michelle Killmer and family;  grandchildren, Madison Hecker, Molly and Matthew Reimers, and Jacob and Nicholas Brewer; and nieces and nephews, Jordan and Jace Skovgard, and Kody and Kattie Marcus.

She is preceded in death by her father John Marcus.

A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
